KUA KILTON AND WELCH DORMS AND FACULTY RESIDENCES

Throughout 2022, VIA worked with Kimball Union Academy (KUA) on schematic designs for three dorm renovations. Seeking to align these living spaces with the school’s commitment to equity, inclusion, and care for the environment, KUA aimed to provide more functional and comfortable living quarters for students and faculty, create more welcoming indoor and outdoor community gathering spaces, and improve the buildings’ energy efficiency. The school is currently moving ahead with designs for two of those dorms – Kilton Hall and Welch Hall.
