Waterbury Municipal Complex

Waterbury, VT | 2013-2016

In December of 2013, VIA was selected to develop a design for the Town of Waterbury to house their Municipal Offices (displaced by Tropical Storm Irene), Public Library, and Historical Society. The combined facility connects a fully renovated and restored historic Dr. Janes House, home of the Historical Society, with a new building housing the library, town offices, and public meeting space. The nearly 16,000-square-foot complex is a model of energy efficiency and shall meet the needs of the community for decades to come. The building was completed in early 2016.
