Rochester Public Library

 Rochester, VT | 2011-2014

In July of 2011, VIA was selected to assist the Rochester Public Library and Historical Society in designing a new accessible entry, accessible bathroom, additional stack and office space, and energy efficiency upgrades to their historic, downtown building. The design services, partially funded by a municipal planning grant, included a Section 106 Historic Preservation review and submission, a complete structural analysis of the existing building, and a series of energy assessments and systems proposals for the renovated structure. This multi-phase project was completed in late 2014.
