Bristol, VT | 2015-2017
Beginning in 2015, Bristol Village Cohousing worked with VIA to develop a Master Plan for 14 residential units and one community building on a 2+ acre site in downtown Bristol, Vermont. The residence units include both new, single-family homes as well as three multi-family units in existing historic buildings. The community building occupies a large, beautiful Queen Anne style home on North Street. VIA helped the cooperative-structured community make long-term and best-value decisions around sustainability and energy efficiency for the project. The members of the cohousing community moved in during the summer of 2017.
